The Sr. Manager, Tenant Coordination is directly responsible for two key responsibilities: 1) Driving and shaping all Design related decisions during the Landlord Design Review of Tenant Plans; 2) Facilitating all CAD based services needed for the Division. Additionally, this role may contribute on a project level, and handle Tenant Coordination projects directly.
Daily oversight of the TC Design Review Committee, where all design related decisions are presented and determined. It is the obligation of this role to always provide 2-3 solutions given the business constraints Speaking directly to Leasing partners and Tenants, determining the possible range of scope for the deal/project Facilitating the drafting of Space Cuts, LODs, and preliminary drawings to clarify scope if necessary Translating the determined scope into an Exhibit C form for documentation purposes Providing a schedule for each project for both internal and external communication and coordination Engaging Architects and Engineers and Designers for various services Producing or going to contract for renderings, interior layouts, signage design, storefront design, and design criteria manuals Weekly project reporting to the VP of Tenant Coordination, including budget updates, forecasts, change orders, and general project status Contract Administration This role may manage a small team of people, including a CAD Facilitator and PT Consultants This role will integrate heavily with Leasing, Tenants, Property Management, and Development
Qualifications: In depth understanding of retail and restaurant layout In depth understanding of civil, architectural, MEP, structural, and FLS systems and drawings Architectural background is strongly preferred Functional expertise in California Building Code and Fire Code In depth understanding of material finishes An understanding of high end, luxury finishes and construction means and methods is strongly preferred Experience in multi story, mixed use retail/restaurant is strongly preferred A proven track record of projects opened on time and on budget A keen eye for design A customer friendly service attitude and business approach Project Management experience The ability to pivot and adapt to ever changing business situations and needs
