The Associate Vice Chancellor/University Architect reports directly to the Vice Chancellor of Finance, Operations and Administration (FOA) and is a member of FOA’s senior leadership staff. This position is responsible for leading a highly reliable and collaborative organization of approximately 85 employees with a strong focus on customer service, financial accountability, innovation and stewardship. Since 2007, the organization has earned 10 awards from the Design-Build Institute of America, the most recent a 2017 national award of merit for the Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art in the category of educational facilities. Incumbent is responsible for administering an operating budget of more than $13 million, and an active capital project program that currently exceeds $800 million.
