The role of the Project Coordinator is to plan, execute, and finalize projects on time, and within or under budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of internal team members and third party contractors and vendors in order to deliver projects according to plan or be able to be flexible and modify existing plans as project deadlines change. The Project Coordinator will also maintain timely, effective, and professional communications with the client and oversee quality control throughout the project’s life cycle.
Preparing and maintaining project databases, documents, and schedules
Participating in team meetings with shop foremen, install manager, and other Project Managers
Travel may be required to participate in on site discussions with contractors, architects, and/or owners
Communication with vendors and subcontractors as well as inter-departmentally to ensure constant awareness of where project is in process to ensure meeting multiple deadlines
Assisting Project Managers with any project related tasks
Qualifications and skills:
Background in signage construction is desired
Computer savvy, MS Office, Excel proficient
Organized, able to multi-task, prioritize and time management
Excellent communication skills with outside contractors as well as company staff
Flexibility with on-site deadlines and unforeseen changes
