The Facilities Project Manager III will plan, organize, and provide technical management for a variety of major Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) facilities within the County. The incumbent will oversee construction and renovation projects from the development of initial conception and schematic drawings through final acceptance of construction and may also manage projects under other jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills along with an ability to perform work with a high level of tact.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction or business management, business administration or closely related field.
Experience: Two years of professional level engineering, construction or project management experience which included one year of experience having responsibility for budget analysis, cost estimation and the design, planning, and construction of buildings and/or public facilities equivalent to a Facilities Project Manager II with the County of Riverside. (Additional qualifying experience may substitute for up to a maximum of two years of the required education on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units equaling one year of full time experience.)
OR OPTION II
Possession of a Project Management Certificate from an accredited college or university.
Five years of experience, which included responsibility for the design, planning, cost estimation, budget analysis, and construction of buildings and/or public facilities equivalent to the Facilities Project Manager II with the County of Riverside. (Additional qualifying education in engineering, architecture, construction or business management or a closely related field may substitute for the required experience on the basis of one year of education equaling 30 semester or 45 quarter units of education up to a maximum of two years.)
Highly Desired: A bachelor's degree; two years of OSHPD experience; experience managing design professionals, sub-consultants, general contractors, and sub-contractors; experience working with developers and coordinating the implementation of building safety official's requirements.
