Job Summary Reporting directly to the Executive Officer in MCE. Project coordinator with expertise in coordinating international R&D projects with limited resources. In particular, the successful candidate must be able to lead a multi-disciplinary international team to develop a successful R&D project under tight deadlines. Familiar with space architecture and 3D printing is relevant.
Job Duties - Lead and coordinate the team working on the NASA Centennial Challenge 3D printed habitat - Oversee integration of technology components - Provide feedback to Caltech faculty on integration of NASA Challenge components so they can integrate it into their courses - Manage documentation and communication aspects of the project
- B.Arch. degree - At least two years of industry experience in the technology sector, fundraising, and public sector
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in space architecture, academic teaching experience, familiarity with construction technologies, international architectural experience.
