The Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) is looking for Graphics Programmers to join our Modeling, Simulation and Training team in creating realistic, accurate and informative representations of the world around us. The team's focus is in the areas of, Geospatial Data and Technologies, Cloud services, E-learning, Live, Virtual, Constructive Simulations, UAS/Drones and game-based technologies.
The Graphics Programmer will design and implement rendering solutions for a pipeline that captures images from autonomous UAS (drones) and then photogrammetrically creates 3D point clouds, models, and game-ready datasets for the latest generation rendering and game engines (Unity, Unreal4 and others). Feature extraction, segmentation, and terrain optimization/generation for game engines are all part of the position. The programmer will follow design specifications to code, test, debug, install, document, and maintain graphics-based software applications. Develops new and enhanced functionality for software applications. Prepares code documentation in support of program development. Performs work of moderate complexity and handles most activities under general supervision of more experienced programming staff. Sound knowledge of programming and documentation procedures, programming methods, program flow charts and operator instructions. Knowledge of one or more appropriate computer languages.
