Summary of Essential Job Duties: Research Recruitment services are delivered by working closely with hiring management to understand their business, proactively address their staffing needs, and provide recruitment and workforce planning services to meet those needs. The Research Talent Advisor partners with assigned department clients and other areas of Human Resources to design/ implement effective and creative recruitment plans. This includes defining open positions, developing proactive, innovative sourcing and recruitment tactics, as well as, delivering metrics necessary to achieve "best in class" talent acquisition. The Research Talent Advisor attracts, assesses, and selects qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches through networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. The Research Talent Advisor provides recruitment services in a positive, timely, service oriented, cost efficient and effective manner. Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit qualified talent, creating a positive customer experience to applicants. This role will anticipate industry trends and utilizes labor market information to ensure best in class candidate sourcing. FOCUS: Internal client facing service delivery of staffing services and external client facing with focus on building talent pipelines, screening and assessing applicants. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for consulting with department clients, to define short and long term staffing needs (based on succession planning, hiring forecast, expected/unexpected turnover and new program development). 2. Assists hiring management with job analysis and job description development including ensuring appropriate content, reviewing content and maintaining job description repository. 3. Understands client staffing needs and develops and executes proactive, innovative, cost-effective sourcing/recruitment strategies and tactics to target qualified applicants for vacancies, attract and recruit top talent. 4. Performs advanced sourcing including utilizing social media, developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions. 5. Performs structured screening, interviewing and assessment to assure applicants meet both job and organization requirements. 6. Makes recommendation to hiring manager(s) on the referral of the qualified candidates. 7. Manages the interview process with clients to ensure a positive candidate experience for referred candidates, markets Cedars-Sinai as an "employer of choice". Responds to candidate inquiries. 8. Consults with management on hiring, promotion and transfer decisions including making recommendations on candidate selection and job offer terms. Determines and recommends new hire or transfer rates of pay considering internal equity, labor market issues, implications for other departments and Cedars-Sinai Compensation Policy. Extends job offers to final candidates. 9. Manages employee transfers including but not limited to: receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements. 10. Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements: Strongly Prefer Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Strongly prefer certification in Human Resources or Healthcare Recruitment. Experience: 1. Requires a minimum of 5 years current human resources experience (with demonstrated solid experience and knowledge in recruitment and other human resources disciplines including, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee/labor relations, training and organization development). Strongly prefer healthcare industry experience. 2. Experience with full scope staffing including knowledge of sourcing efficacy, candidate assessment techniques and job offer negotiation skills. 3. Strong knowledge and application of Federal and California employment laws, regulations and legislation. 4. Demonstrated success working independently, forging relationships, and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding and problem solving. 6. Exemplary organizational skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and follow through on requests. 7. Ability to analyze with qualitative and quantitative information for decision support. 8. High level of proficiency using Microsoft Windows, and other Microsoft Office Software, Applicant Tracking Systems and electronic recruitment tools. 9. Ability to work closely and cooperatively with colleagues. 10.
