SUMMARY. Mojave Air & Space Port seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our airport facilities, infrastructure and undeveloped land maintenance program. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience managing a team of maintenance personnel; plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or structural painting experience; have working knowledge of airports; possess a Class B driver’s license; and possess a general contractor’s license. This position will report to the Director of Operations.
DUTIES. The successful selectee will perform the following duties • Provides oversight for a recurring facility preventive maintenance program • Oversees and performs projects to include prioritization, scheduling, sustainment • Develops employee work schedules accounting for overtime or schedule changes as required for customer support • Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements and minor and/or major construction • Establishes and maintains an employee maintenance training and development program
