Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
Must be proficient in Revit 2017 and AutoCAD 2016 and 2017.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Architecture. Multi-Family experience a plus.
Must have strong skills in producing documents utilizing Revit 2017.
Must have the ability to independently produce, and develop plans, elevations, sections and 3D models from hand sketches.
Must have completed a minimum of 4 projects in Revit.
Technical goals, objectives & responsibilities
Capable of working independently 60% of the time.
Ability to work independently and prepare a package of deliverables for each phase.
Working knowledge and familiarity with the building code.
Research and be proactive about the building code changes.
Understand constructability issues.
Maintain close contact with Team Leader and other team members to resolve all project related questions.
Accurately document all exchanges of information on the project between the Firm, the Client and any Consultants.
Directly coordinate with Client and incorporate their standards.
Implement and understand specific Clients' BIM standards.
Review Consultant plans and identify conflicts with architecture.
Coordinate with various disciplines/consultants involved in the project.
Attend DD reviews and relay to junior staff.
Participate in Construction Administration process.
Coordinate files with Consultants upon direction from Team Leader.
Attend and generate meeting minutes for project meetings, presentations, framing walks, planning commission hearings and VE meetings with the Client.
Assemble a set of construction documents for distribution to Client and Consultants with assistance from support personnel.
Generate a general code analysis on projects.
Oversee and check junior staff’s work.
Oversee and train up to 2 staff members dedicated to developing BIM content.
Train and mentor staff on Revit 2017.
Follow office BIM content, procedures and standards.
Assist with projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation (Revit and AutoCAD).
Maintain daily communication with Project Manager.
