Job Summary Assist in the development of technologies needed to autonomously additive manufacture habitats on-site for future missions to the Moon and Mars as part of the NASA 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge.
Job Duties - Assist in the development of large-scale 3D printing for novel materials and Mars regolith simulant. - Assist in the integration of technology components for 3D printing. - Assist in the development of multi-resolution printer head. - Assist in the development of robotic movement component for 3D printing. - Assist in the development of feedstock material system for large scale 3D printer.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a technical field. - Familiarity of interdisciplinary technical projects. - Familiarity with construction technologies.
