Incumbent is accountable for the management and coordination of all patient care for the Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Service. Duties include assessing health needs, planning and evaluating care for patients with complex health problems. Participating with Inpatient rounds and follow up with the trauma team/residents. Responsibility for care and organization of procedures and follow-up, inpatient and outpatient tracking, follow-up and referrals, overseeing the scheduling area and discharge patients (including discharge summary, instructions, and medications). Triage phone calls. Responsible for the reviewing critical labs, follow-up of results with patient and medical staff, conducting in-depth interviews with patients and/or family, constructing comprehensive medical histories, performing initial and periodic physical examinations, and exploring patient's interpretation of health needs. Incumbent will identify and treat patients and manage treatment of hospitalized patients.

Salary: Hourly $59.03 - $81.03 Total Hours: Part Time Career Position. Annual TB screening and any applicable test to meet JCAHO requirements. Final candidate subject to background check.
