4LEAF is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to manage Capital Improvement Program construction projects for a State Agency, working in our San Diego office. Minimum of 7 years experience is preferred. Full time position, salary negotiable.
Provide technical and administrative management services for the project, manage all contract activities related to the construction of the project, and coordinate with the State Representative, Project Manager (PM) and Design Lead on all correspondence.
Perform the duties of a Construction Manager (CM), including monitoring construction, scheduling, quality calculations, estimates, coordinate materials and sampling control, and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, permits and agreements.
Receive, review, and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) submittals, Change Order Requests (COR’s) and notices of potential claim.
Coordinate all construction activities with applicable agency staff.
Conduct regular progress meetings with project team.
Maintain project communication and documentation.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Certified Construction Manager (C.C.M.) preferred
