We are looking for an experienced part-time Architect/ Interior Designer/ Draftsperson to produce as-built drawings and architectural plans. This person must be extremely accurate, detail oriented and knowledgeable in all facets of residential design and construction.
Participate in all aspects of a residential project from design, management, and delivery.
Responsible for all correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration for the overall project
Oversee coordination of interior, MEP, and structural related disciplines during the design phase.
Work on-site and measuring of existing residential structures
Create accurate as-built drawings that can be relied upon for critical project information.
Create complete architect sheets with details.
Ability to ask relevant questions in a congenial manner to push things forward.
Determine what needs attention to move project forward to quickly and efficiently proceed to construction phase.
Communicate any potential concerns and issues that may delay the construction process to the team.
Education and Experience
CAD certificate from accredited school or the ability to demonstrate basic CAD proficiency. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
This position requires at least 2-3 years of working on one or more of the following building types: residential, commercial, corporate, institutional/civic, science/technology, education or healthcare.
A proactive attitude, excellent written and verbal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment are all essential to be successful in this position.

Proficiency with AutoCAD & Photoshop. Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook) and other industry software is a plus.
Strong experience with creating detailed architectural, engineering or as-built construction drawings.
Ability to effectively meet and accommodate deadlines on multiple projects.
Provide timely feedback and guidance to the Design & Construction Teams.
Experience in working with an architect or interior designer.
Demonstrated experience executing architectural projects from design through construction
Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, standards and best building practices.
Technical understanding of building science.
