Coordinate and participate in the development, distribution and maintenance of the contract documentation to ensure conformance with internal and external deliverables guidelines, schedules, and project scope. Position serves as coordinator during all project phases working in conjunction with the allocated design staff both internal and external, consultants, owner, contractor, and agencies to ensure proper documentation. The Senior Project Coordinator is expected to perform at an advanced level as a result of their extensive training and/or experience.
The Senior Project Coordinator reports to the SVP of Architecture. The CAD Specialist may take direction from the Senior Project Coordinator on project related matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret concept, schematic, or design development phase exhibits including renderings, images or rough sketches and produce phase appropriate drawing and related
Review design intent to acquire understanding of design
Coordinate efforts of design and production team, consultants, owner, contractor, and agencies in finalizing and documenting the
Maintain journal and records of submittals, samples, shop drawings, and ensure that the aforementioned are reviewed by the appropriate team members in a timely manner.
Ensure that proper team members provide answers, drawings, clarifications in a timely manner during all project
Ensure graphic quality and consistency of contract
Coordinate scheduling and staff/hour allocations with the Project Leadership Team as
Generate finish, door & window, hardware or other schedules and room matrixes as
Generate or coordinate the development of architectural
Maintain contact with and among the contractors, quality/quantity surveyor, architects, engineers and all other involved
Ensure that proposed design work can be built, and the design work documented
Ensure that contract documentation details are
Provide occupancy, exiting, and path of egress analysis for all projects involving change in use within the area of the project
Submit “for construction documentation” to relevant authorities for plan check/permits.
Review, respond and implement as applicable plan check or related corrections and coordinate among all disciplines and other pertinent parties to obtain
Assist in preparing design department staff performance reviews as
Conduct or participate in question and answer sessions during bidding and negotiation as requested by Project Manager or other senior management team members and document conclusions by appropriate
Conduct or participate in site walk-throughs during contract administration as requested by senior management team members and document conclusions by appropriate
Participate in and coordinate with construction project managers on site visits, pre-construction meetings, site progress reviews and site walk-throughs.
Review documentation for conformance to all applicable building, health, energy, electrical, mechanical and plumbing codes, accessibility guidelines and laws, fire and life safety regulations and notify applicable senior team remembers regarding deficiencies and irregularities.
Maintain knowledge of contractual scope of work and monitor same during contract documentation and field observation

General knowledge of regional standards/requirements and codes for both production and building as they pertain to all phases of work.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the retail, restaurant or hospitality
Knowledge of property, brand, or owner standards as they apply to the scope of the

Must be thoroughly familiar with all internal processes and standards including drive, folder and file structures, scheduling and staffing protocols, email procedures, and assist in maintaining and organizing all project related

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
At least 5-7 years experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within the retail, restaurant or hospitality industry to include the capability of developing fully detailed contract documents from any level of phase deliverables with minimum supervision. AutoCAD experience required. Architectural licensure or professional certification preferred.
