The Administrative Assistant III position provides 90% administrative support and 10% reception support. The Administrative Assistant III plays a key role in supporting management, therefore, he/she must have excellent personal computer skills, the ability to independently coordinate a variety of tasks and functions, work around frequent interruptions, organize workload, set ever-changing priorities, anticipate and provide for schedule changes, work well under pressure and strict deadlines, and have the ability to realign priorities as necessary.REQUIRED-Prior experience in an administrative assistant role.-Demonstrated excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.-Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively communicate with UCDHS Administrators, Contractors, and Consultants. -Demonstrated ability to manage numerous details simultaneously and work under severe time constraints, competing deadlines, conflicting demands, and frequent interruptions. -Analytical and problem solving skills. -Filing skills to organize and maintain accurate, complete and up to date departmental complex filing systems for easy retrieval of information. PREFERRED-Direct experience with construction administration.
