Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, Safety and Injury Prevention, position is responsible for campus wide occupational safety program implementation to ensure regulatory compliance. Coordinates and works with Safety Division staff. Serves as a resource for technical areas of occupational safety. Duties include implementing programs with responsibility in key areas: providing guidance for personnel to implement safe operating procedures, providing training and technical information, performing audits, implementing injury prevention strategies, providing overall injury prevention program assistance, preparing and analyzing injury metrics and reports, conducting construction plan reviews, and monitoring overall campus injury trends.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
