Research Assistant II position will focus on molecular biology projects supporting a Translational Group with the responsibility of developing a new pipeline of oncolytic virus therapeutics for the treatment of cancer. The RAII will construct recombinant viruses and assess their functions with in vitro assays (BSL-2). The successful candidate is expected to have a strong scientific background in molecular biology and experience with mammalian cell culture. Virology experience would be beneficial. The primary role of this position will be to execute experiments that are broadly designed by senior scientists. The RAII is expected to independently execute, analyze, document, and interpret results, and to communicate within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field.
