We are looking for an out-going Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing, and overseeing the construction. You will be involved in new building designs and our goal is to meet the client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Completely responsible for the management, production and detailing of construction documents
Provide technical expertise to ensure coordinated, high quality construction documents and review drawings for quality control
Conduct construction administration activities including site visits, RFI responses, submittal and punch list reviews
Control projects from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
Ensure that all projects are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations
Attend Client meetings and coordinate with outside Consultant’s
Inspire, develop and mentor architectural design staff
Skills & Requirements:
Highly skilled in AutoCAD, experience with Revit a plus
Professional knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations & standards
Must have professional experience with Type V projects; both single-family and multi-family
Apartment experience and commercial experience
Strong knowledge of technical design and documentations
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Strong imagination and show the ability to create in three dimensions
Positive, out-going and energetic team member who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp)
Communication and project management skills
Must be a licensed Architect
