We are looking for an experienced Audio Visual Project Engineer (FSE) to join our Avidex team in Fremont, CA.

Create and manage the design and execution phases of the schedule which include setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, controlling and summarizing project progress, and ensuring project execution and completion are within the constraints of the time, cost and project scope
Assist the estimating team with defining the scope, schedule, costs and resources needed to complete the project including labor, logistics, material, specialty tools, etc.
Assist with performing diagnostic troubleshooting on AV/IT systems as required as well as providing installation testing, commissioning and punch lists for completion by the integration team
Ensures sign off on the project by the customer
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in the AV/IT industry
5 years' experience providing technical or engineering support in the AV/IT industry
Minimum of 2 years' AutoCAD or Visio experience
Advanced proficiency commissioning AV and IT systems
Ability to multi-task and manage several different projects at a time, mentor others, a solid work ethic and exceed customer expectations
Able to occasionally climb ladders and scaffolding, mobility including walking, sitting, driving, lifting and carrying, standing, kneeling and crouching for long periods of time
Demonstrate excellent decision making and trouble-shooting skills and above average follow-up skills
CTS must be attained within 6 months of date of hire/CTS-I or CTS-D preferred
Cisco CCENT or greater and PMP a plus
Must have excellent computer skills including proficiency using Windows and Apple Software
Work sites vary from finished executive boardrooms to new construction sites resulting in site conditions varying drastically. Appropriate dress is required
