Develops, organizes, and oversees all summer programs for multi-site and multi-programming school. Works with Campus Directors, Assistant Directors and Activity Directors, and Department Heads to develop, organize, and facilitate a summer program at each campus while establishing standards of performance across all programs and is in line with Fairmont’s overall goals. Manages special projects assigned by the Executive team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Including, but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the operational success of all summer programs ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, and quality control and evaluation.
Maintain our summer program accredited via ACA and enhance current programs.
Develop new programs.
Meet regularly with Campus Directors and Activity Directors to ensure programs are running effectively and meeting campus needs.
Plan and coordinate program budgets and monitor all program revenue and expenses.
Responsible for overall enrollment and bottom line for summer programs.
Responsible for overall safety of programming on and off site during the summer programs.
Work with marketing department to develop promotional materials, and promotions for the summer programs.
Oversee program registration and processing of all forms and confirmation letters.
Maintain program database and prepare appropriate summary reports.
Organize staff training for summer camp.
Develop data structure for the evaluation of programs.
Conduct program audits to ensure efficient implementation.
Identify potential growth avenues for the programs.
Internal consultant for student services/activity program – all campuses.
Serve as a main contact person for issues involving Student Services/Activities Departments at all campuses (i.e. billing systems, training, SWOT analysis, ordering shirts, calendar problems, etc).
Help ensure safety of campuses before and after regular school program (i.e. check in/check out policy).
Help ensure extended day structure, staffing and programming quality is up to Fairmont standards.
Assists Activity Directors and Campus Directors with basic structuring, hiring and system improvements.
Assists as needed with events to maintain the highest possible standards.
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Define project scope, goals and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field with experience in project management.
Must have at least 5 years of experience in Camp and/or educational programs.
Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operating innovative programs.
Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems
Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
Experience having worked with a high-performance, collaborative, constructive peer group
Strength in hiring, recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility, span-of-control and performance
Demonstrated results in managing through complex systems and proven experience negotiating win-win agreements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details
