Our Imaging Services Team is looking for Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging to join their leadership team on a Full-time basis!
Responsible for the 24-hour daily activities of the Diagnostic Imaging department to facilitate a smooth workflow and effective communication processes among caregivers. Ensures the delivery of quality, timely and efficient services in radiology. Requires 24-hour, 7-day a week accountability, including holidays and weekends. Demonstrates excellence in knowledge of diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and studies with a thorough understanding of radiography and fluoroscopy to include Surgery and Emergency Departments. Assists in developing policies, protocols and procedures to measure and improve the quality of diagnostic imaging services provided by different departments and improves patient experience. Supervises personnel through performance management, qualified staff selection and training and effective communication. Maintains the safety of diagnostic imaging service equipment and creates a safe environment for patients, staff and the public. Maintains appropriate staffing levels, monitors patient delays and intervenes when necessary to assure timely and quality customer service.
Location: Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, California (about 30 minutes north of San Diego). The centerpiece of your health care system is Palomar Medical Center Escondido. Shift: Full-time 8-hour variable shifts
Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years related clinical experience Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Cat Scan, MRI, or Ultrasound. 1 - 2 years supervisory experience required.
Required License: License as required by area of specialty
Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider Certification in Specialty area of practice or role
