As a Project Architect III with FreemanWhite, you are responsible for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective, designs, drawings and specifications in his/her discipline for assigned projects. Further, you will maintain professional registration and signs/seals documents prepared under his/her supervision. Must have experience with REVIT. Experience as an Architect within the California Healthcare market is preferred.
Assists in planning and scheduling projects and keep the responsible Project Manager (PM) informed regarding project progress and any developing issues relating to the project.
Ensures that project design and contract documents are developed and detailed with technical accuracy and skill that meets the company's Quality Implementation Program standards.
Implements technical accuracy, life safety, and building code, and hospital licensure requirements in the development of project design and contract documents.
Maintains project-related documentation and specifications. (files)
Mentor younger staff and engage peer’s development of Project Architects I & II.
Coordinate Bid Phase inquiries and required addenda responses.
Support the Construction Administrator during the construction phase in responding to questions and clarifications.
A degree from an accredited school of architecture.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.
Licensed architect. NCARB certified is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience following registration.
Working knowledge in the application of appropriate building codes and licensure requirements
CAD and Revit proficient with a working knowledge of word processing, scheduling, and spreadsheet software.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
