Perform on an independent basis various tasks including research, planning, design, construction, repair, maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, programming and testing in support of the Henry Miller Reclamation District No. 2131 (District) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) implementation and system maintenance. Complete engineering tasks in support of research, planning, design and construction of irrigation and drainage systems, and other district related facilities, conduct field GPS surveys, inspections and prepare reconnaissance reports, operate Computer Aided Design (CAD) system, perform related duties as required.

Five (5) years increasingly responsible experience performing a variety of water operations and SCADA technology
College level course work in engineering to include technical related courses, or other equivalent professional experience to SCADA and CAD work
About Henry Miller Reclamation District No. 2131
The Henry Miller Reclamation District #2131 (District) delivers irrigation water and provides drainage services to over 300 landowners covering 45,000 acres of highly productive farm land outside of Dos Palos, California. The District provides these services for the San Luis Canal Company (Company), which holds historical water rights off the San Joaquin River. The Company is a member of the San Joaquin River Exchange Contractors Water Authority and receives its water supply under an Exchange Contract with the United States Bureau of Reclamation.
The District and Company work together to ensure the delivery of irrigation water; and are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the canals and drains, within it's boundaries.
