The Executive Director is responsible for the daily oversight of both Academic and Operations departments, for which they have responsibility for clinical practice, human resource management, fiscal accountability, patient engagement and regulatory compliance. She/he will exhibit leadership, humanism and professionalism in the management of her/his departments. She/he will demonstrate motivation and creativity and serves as a catalyst for effective changes at the institutional and department level.
The Executive Director is responsible for demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the trends and forces that shape the health care delivery system, the provision of care, and other emerging issues in cancer care. She/he demonstrates flexibility and initiative to effectively lead change efforts to respond to environmental or organizational change.
The Executive Director is also responsible for supporting strategic integration for Cedars-Sinai Cancer with a focus on delivery of patient care and best practices.

* In alignment with the Cancer Clinical Trials Office and Cedars-Sinai Cancer Executive Committee to support clinical operations and an environment to provide clinical trials across all entities of the Health System for Cedars-Sinai Cancer.
* In partnership with the leadership of the Medical Center, Medical Network and other affiliations will support an environment of patient safety and quality.
