This Risk Manager position located in San Francisco and outsourced to PCCP, LLC. The Risk Manager will be responsible for ensuring PCCP’s real estate investments are adequately insured through the day-to-day coordination of internal and external teams.
Insurance and Risk Strategy:
Ensure PCCP’s real estate investments are appropriately insured, through the active management of insurance efforts across internal PCCP contacts and external partners, consultants, and brokers
Work closely with PCCP and external insurance team to identify insurance requirements and ensure coverage for new acquisitions, construction projects, corporate initiatives, refinancing, leases, and other contracts
Oversee and coordinate insurance renewals; manage insurance policies and summaries
Track exposure, resiliency, and loss data to improve PCCP’s risk management program, identify loss mitigation strategies, and quantify environmental impact
Manage insurance claims, including maintaining status of open claims, identifying ways to mitigate future claims, and analyzing the financial impact of claims on the company
Work with senior management to identify potential risks, opportunities, and solutions

5-7 years of experience in investment management, commercial real estate, insurance, risk management, or related field
Insurance experience with knowledge of Real Estate market extremely valuable.
Property & Casualty License, CICI, CPCU, ARM or other insurance certification are a plus
