Growing service and product expertise Position Summary The Network Functional Manager is in charge of network monitoring and support for all campus network infrastructure. The position requires leadership qualities that can manage incidents and major outages to minimize impact and downtime to the campus community. It must have strong management skills to coordinate NOC resources to respond to project and operational issues and be able to identify feasible solutions. This management position is responsible for managing service requests (moves, adds, changes, decoms, work) from customers, including managing resource allocations and scheduling. Manages material/hardware design, costs, and asset inventory. This management position also is responsible for small project requests from customers working in conjunction with the Network Product Team, which includes determining labor and material costs, network (wired and wireless) design builds, resource allocations and costs, and determination time/schedule to complete work. This position receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Reviews and approves recommendations for functional programs. Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and personnel, and serious delays in overall schedules. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule Salary Information: $115,000-$150,000/annually. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
