Stanford Transportation manages Stanford's award-winning Transportation Demand Management program, which includes Stanford's commute programs and incentives, free Marguerite shuttle, transit and car-free options, bicycle program, and parking operations. The Communications Manager plans and implements the most effective ways to reach a broad and diverse audience, often under deadline and with a high degree of collaboration. Immediate Opening: Job Family: Communications Job Series: Editor Job Code: 4252 Grade: I Exemption: Exempt What you will do in this role: Working at Stanford Redwood City, you will perform content development and editorial review under minimal supervision. In this role, you will manage a team of writers, ensuring that all communications are clear, concise, well organized, and effective in supporting and achieving Stanford Transportation's goals. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will collaborate with our team and colleagues to promote sustainable transportation to the Stanford community, provide effective communications to our customers, and oversee the creation and publication of content and collateral to support our objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of outreach and communications, including the following: Stanford Transportation's mass and targeted communications.
You may be responsible for your own portfolio of communications in addition to overseeing one or more communications professionals. You also will be part of Stanford Transportation's operations management team.
