Lead the financial, risk management, and administrative operations in support of company-wide operations and initiatives. Manage the organization's support services strategies and is responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the financial activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations. Oversee metrics tied to strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate results.
Responsibilities • Develop vision and strategy for the support services groups within the organization (e.g., Accounting, Finance, IT, Project Administration) to ensure success in all company-wide operations. • Provide fiduciary oversight for Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI) and Bonding, as well as bankers, insurance brokers, debt financing, and 401K and ESOP plans. • As a member of the Executive Team, partner with the leadership in developing and executing company’s long-range business plan in accordance with the defined strategy. • Advise the CEO on vision, strategy, and high-level decision making about policy. • Assure fiscal and regulatory documents are filed, and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company. • Build Strategic Partnerships with targeted owners, consultants, and internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements • 20+ years working within the financial field. Construction or Construction Management industry experience preferred. • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Master’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar field. • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting. • Experience as a CFO from a company with complex financials and extensive balance sheet. • Demonstrated highest standards of key values, including Integrity, Collaboration, Curiosity, Innovation, and Leadership.
