THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities The Charge Capture Analyst-RN is responsible for aiding in maintaining systems, processes, and workflows for the timely and accurate recording of hospital revenue regarding charge capture. The Charge Capture Analyst-RN is a technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the broad field and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving which frequently requires analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent and structure. The Charge Capture Analyst-RN will work with internal and external departments to formulate strategies, administer policies, processes, and resources; function with a high degree of autonomy; involve revenue cycle functions for the healthcare enterprise, including system billing, reporting, and support; the impacts of processes to include charge capture, documentation and coding, data entry, billing, and contract management. The Charge Capture Analyst-RN provides expert analysis and reporting of charge capture performance; act as a department liaison for Charge Capture; identification and tracking of issues related to Charge Capture in partnership with other Revenue Integrity Domains to maximize revenue and increase efficiency. The Charge Capture Analyst-RN's primary functions are analysis, system/process development, problem resolution, and workflow oversight. The Charge Capture Analyst-RN requires an expert level of operations and contract knowledge, a high level of independence and creativity, advanced analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of workflows and systems in revenue cycle program areas, to identify weaknesses and develop innovative solutions and process improvements, sound judgment, as well as organizational and priority setting abilities.
