![]() IT Facilities / Implementations Information Systems Analyst 3 Job Summary The mission of Information and Technology is to create and support an information technology environment that enhances the ability of the UC Davis community to teach, do research and provide public service. In support of the University's mission, IT will deliver an infrastructure of technological services appropriate to the requirements of the campus community. As an IT Facilities / Implementations Information Systems Analyst III this position Is responsible for highly complex project design, planning, project budgeting, project implementation and ongoing management of key IT initiatives, which includes the assessment and management of high profile projects that have a significant impact on IT Facilities/Implementations and UCDH, as well as requiring an advanced understanding of the interdependencies within the highly complex IT Facilities / Implementations delivery initiatives for Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG projects related to advanced technical IT Infrastructure; network, cabling, end point devices, and Auxiliary Services systems. The position's primary function will be to work with IT Implementations Technical PM IV and IT Implementations Manager on IT initiatives associated with IT Facilities, Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG projects such as new construction, remodels, expansions, and furniture installations. This position requires strong project scheduling and coordination skills, as well as a unique depth and breadth of knowledge in specific Infrastructure desktop technologies mentioned above, as well as Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG projects. This IT Implementations Information Systems Analyst III will interact with all levels of IT management and staff and will work with a high degree of independence and decision-making. The position will serve as a lead in the design, planning, and implementation of Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG projects, and will work within cross-functional teams and subject matter experts throughout the delivery process, which includes all aspects of project delivery from requirements gathering, analysis and design, configuration, implementation and testing, through deployment and support of various systems. Highly effective leadership and communications skills to diverse audiences are essential. May be required to work outside of standard business hours to meet critical needs of the Information Technology division. The IT Implementations Information Systems Analyst III is an experienced professional who knows how to evaluate project requirements, following UCDH practices, with a high degree of knowledge in overall support of Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG projects. The IT Implementations Information Systems Analyst III will represent and support IT Facilities/Implementations, with a high degree of knowledge in the overall implementation and support of Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and FIG project, as well as other all IT Facilities/Implementations projects, with recognized expertise in specific areas. The IT Implementations Information Systems Analyst III applies professional concepts on behalf of UCDHS and the IT Facilities/Implementations group, related to each department/unit involved in IT Facilities Design & Construction, Planning and/or FIG projects. Utilizes UCDH and IT Facilities policies and procedures to resolve a variety of complex issues in one or more IT areas of specialization, as they relate to IT Facilities/Implementations projects. Analyzes complex issues within defined procedures and practices, and determines appropriate action related to Facilities Design & Construction, Planning & FIG projects. Special requirements / Certifications: This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment. Must be able to work varied hours (i.e., nights and weekends) and must be available for 24-hours a day for escalations on projects. Must be able to lift up to 401bs.
