We are seeking a well-organized, creative, and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate Development team. The successful applicant will support the management of multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate ability to prioritize working with multiple teams. The successful applicant must be highly motivated with long-term career growth ambitions in project management and development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with the V.P. of Development and other teams to ensure execution of capital and development projects
Manage consultant and contractor payment applications, including review of invoices for conformance with contract documents
Provide support for field-related management including verification of existing conditions, quality control review with project teams, and vendor interaction to ensure all projects are managed to Company standards
Communicate, interact, and develop beneficial relationships with tenants, contractors, architects, consultants, and other project team members
Attend construction meetings, document responsibilities and action items, follow-up to confirm performance
Prepares, in conjunction with V.P. of Development a predevelopment budget, development budget, construction cost, project cash flow and project timeline
Coordinate review and input from partner agencies and internal customers such as Property/Asset Management and Finance teams at appropriate milestones and appropriately influences the development process
Evaluate tenant work letter requirements and work with leasing department to modify letters to meet specific needs of project
Travels to project sites, which may necessitate overnight stays.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
7-10 years of experience in real estate, design, and construction experience managing internal real estate and external project management teams. Retail experience a must
Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Structural) or similar
Familiarity with basic construction and real estate processes and vocabulary
Willing to collaborate as part of a team and support the office as needed
Highly motivated, responsible, and resourceful
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Analytical - Synthesizes complex information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data
Technical Skills – Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings; knowledge of site planning, architectural design, experience securing government entitlements such as permits and zoning; construction techniques; real estate law; negotiations
