POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Computer Science and Engineering Department anticipates hiring full and part-time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in Summer 2022:
CSE 005 Introduction to Computer Applications
CSE 019 Introduction to Computing and other courses as needed.
In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor will be evaluating student work and exams, calculating and posting grades, and holding regular posted office hours each week.
This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. QUALIFICATIONS
Masters and/or PhD degree in Computer Science or related and experience teaching at the college or university level are required. Must be able to provide a record of excellence in teaching.
