San Francisco Public Works’ Building Design & Construction (BDC) division is a full-service Professional Architectural office that provides Architectural services to City agencies in San Francisco. We are one of the few City Departments in the United States that offer full Architectural design and project delivery services. Our work includes excellent projects such as Fire Houses, Libraries, Recreation Buildings, Parks, Public Safety Buildings and Health Services buildings. We are proud to be providing full-service design and construction for our great city.
San Francisco Public Works, Bureau of Architecture (BOA) is recruiting for a Healthcare Studio Manager for its Healthcare Section. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee an Architectural Studio of approximately 12 architectural staff delivering Architectural Healthcare projects for the City of San Francisco and Public Works. The portfolio alone for this Healthcare Section, one of (5) Sections in BOA, includes over 24 projects with a total project budget of over $223M. We are a practicing architectural organization, very similar to the private sector in structure, and deliver full-service projects for most of our city agencies, including DPH, MTA, PUC, Rec & Park, SF Libraries, SF Fire Department, SF Police Department, Department of Real Estate, & Department of Homelessness & Supportive Housing. This position will focus on Healthcare projects, including city neighborhood clinics, labs, and renovations to the old and historic Laguna Honda hospital.
