Members of the MemorialCare Analytics job family work to empower MemorialCare’s clinical and business decisions makers with trusted, timely, and actionable information to accelerate innovation, increase patient engagement, and enable delivery of the highest quality health care. Members leverage comprehensive knowledge of systems to provide analytics solutions that meet the customers’ needs. The Analytics team provides accurate and timely assessments and reports using multiple data sources for clinical, administrative, and business data relative to unique changes in the delivery of health care for all venues of care at MemorialCare. Using advanced statistical, analytical, and reporting techniques provided through the application of SQL, they provide information that can support decisions and deliver actionable insights. They interpret data to inform patients, consumers and providers as well as improve workflow across the organization by streamlining data processes.
Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects help lead and drive MemorialCare analytics efforts by developing advanced analytics and data science capabilities. As a senior MemorialCare analytics driver, they hold responsibility for defining, selling and implementing healthcare focused analytics solutions and architectural vision in the healthcare space. The Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects guides the Analytics team to identify potential areas for cost improvements, drive optimal performance and efficiency, and highlight alternative process improvement strategies. The Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects work to perform critical research and investigation of key business problems and their analyses creates viable, real-world solutions within the complex health care landscape.
Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects work to realize MemorialCare companywide goals by arming end users with the technology, analytical capabilities, and operational excellence required to better manage statistical patterns. They handle a wide range of projects to support and improve MemorialCare’s end user offerings: a portfolio of multi-faceted, highly-integrated, technology-enabled services. As a member of the Analytics team, Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects work at the intersection between MemorialCare analytic customers and many of MemorialCare’s internal teams. As the domain translator, Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects must have both sound industry acumen as well as the technical skills and knowledge to effectively interpret client asks into meaningful reports and features for MemorialCare platforms.
Principal Healthcare Analytics Architects routinely supports business decisions and operational processes and frequently interacts with MemorialCare leadership and various business units. They have direct-line accountability for team members, and are asked to provide mentorship, guidance and skillset development, while leading highly complex projects across MemorialCare’s internal demands.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
- Define, present and develop data analytics solutions and architectures
- Coordinate and oversee report generation
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-wide analytics projects and strategic initiatives
- Review reports prepared by others to assure consistency and appropriateness of methodologies
- Extract and compile information from various systems to support executive decision-making
- Apply process improvements for the team's methods of collecting and documenting report / programming requirements
