KHA Architects has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team of creative professionals.
Our Project Managers are responsible for overall control and project management administration, construction documentation, and design detailing. They are able to monitor the project progress to ensure it is completed on time, and up to our quality standards. The Project Manager manages the production of models; graphic presentations; design and construction documents for residential and commercial projects. We desire long term relationships and provide support, training and ongoing growth opportunity to members of our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership, and be detail oriented and perform well as an integral part of our team.
Responsibilities include:
Transformation of initial rough product designs into working documents using ArchiCad.
Complete knowledge of all aspects of a construction document package.
Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
Consult with consultants and MEP/Structural Engineers on the development of plans and specifications.
Meet task and project deadline goals.
Work to achieve Client’s goals.
Outstanding visual, presentation and communication skills to clients and prospective clients.
Promote a collaborative team atmosphere.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited Architectural program.
Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience in an Architecture office.
Experience in a similar role and have worked through the full life cycle of an architectural project
High quality 3D presentation / production skills
Excellent skills with ArchiCad
Hand sketching abilities
Outstanding organizational skills- focused, well organized, detail–oriented
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly with willingness to learn and accept new challenges
Proven track record of ability to prioritize and manage tasks against deadlines, and multi-tasking
Outstanding customer service skills
Licensing not required, but significant work towards licensure preferred
