The Human Resources Systems and Data Analyst will be responsible for creating the technology
roadmap while supporting the systems, data, and processes for Human Resources. They will support
the HR team’s goals and objectives by managing projects, making recommendations, designing, and
implementing process improvements. The HR Systems and Data Analyst will act as the liaison between
Human Resources, Payroll, IT team, and the system vendors to maximize system efficiency.
Essential Functions and Duties
• Maintains and continuously improves the system to help meet departmental goals.
• Implement new modules, make modifications in HRIS configuration, and other system projects as
needed.
• Designs, builds, tests and rolls out new applications to users.
• Serves as main point of contact and support of upgrades, modifications, patches, testing, and
other technical projects.
• Partners with IT to setup and manage interfaces.
• Write, compile, maintain and support the distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and
annual reports regarding Human Resources data and statistics for analysis and presentation.
• Manages and prepares compliance reports including but not limited to EEO and AAP/ analyzes
data to ensure adherence to compliance standards and reports escalations as appropriate.
• Consulting with Human Resources director and other departments to determine HRIS needs.
• Analyzing HRIS performance metrics and resolving application issues.
• Performing application upgrades, as well as providing training and technical support.
• Identifies HRIS related training needs and coordinates the necessary
training to meet those needs.
• Integrating new software and performing diagnostics tests to optimize HRIS processes.
• Ensuring the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including attendance and
employee performance data.
• Performing audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and
payroll administration when required.
• Manages, troubleshoots, and provides solutions of system disruptions.
• Respond to inquiries related to HR policies and procedures, support HR team members to resolve
issues, and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
• Analyze current HR business processes and identify and implement additional HR service
applications and process improvements.
• Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS.
• Ensure adherence to licensing agreements.
• Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and
laws.

in any activity on behalf of the company. Immediately report any concerns or violations.

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Technology, or related field of study.
Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of and experience applying HR practices, regulatory requirements, techniques, standards, processes, and systems as it pertains to HR reporting, data, and application research.
Required Experience:
• Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in relational database Human Resource Systems, and system development life cycle.
• Experience applying analytical concepts, software, and data analysis tools using HRIS systems to research, interpret, analyze, compile, and present workforce data and information.
• Experience and advanced skills in the development of spreadsheets and databases containing advanced functions.
• Experience in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
