At DAECO Real Estate Services we use our subject matter real estate expertise to combat the challenge of homelessness in Los Angeles.

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager who shares in our passion to create quality housing interventions for the unhoused. The Project Manager will oversee the planning and construction phase and ensure that all project objectives are complete through to Certificate of Occupancy.  Will work with key stakeholders such as Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and Subcontractors to obtain plan approval and assist in the permitting process. Conduct walkthroughs on active sites, prepare agendas and meeting minutes to maintain open communication with all parties.

Our ideal candidate is organized, task driven and detailed-oriented with excellent communication skills. At DAECO Real Estate Services, we encourage creativity, critical thinking and a proactive attitude.

 

 

 

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction, Architecture, Real Estate development and/or Affordable Housing. Construction experience in Multi-Family, Hospitality, Healthcare and K-12 are also preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with building codes, plan check and permitting process.
• Experience/knowledge of design software a plus, AutoCad is highly desired
• PMP certification, highly desired
• Competent in Excel and Microsoft Office suite, MS Project experience highly desired.
• Reliable transportation to travel between construction projects, office, etc.
