Responsible for all the coordination, implementation, and supervision of all academic programs and policies of the Anaheim Hills Campus--Preschool through 8th Grade. Responsible for all academic activity occurring at home campus. Oversees the use of all facilities to ensure that a safe and proper educational environment is provided.
- Enrollment – Responsible for the overall enrollment of the campus. Work with the Admissions personnel to set up testing procedures, entrance requirements and student recruitment. Identify and respond to any faculty, parent, student and administrators needs in a timely manner and implement a plan for a positive solution.
- Financial - Oversee all campus budgets and facilities. Assist the Deans in budget preparation to assure the success of our long-range goals. Responsible for all financial over sight of the campus.
- Parent Satisfaction/ Customer Service - Responds urgently to customers and team members. Communicates clearly. Thinks “good” is not good enough. Monitor and evaluate the Directors of each campus to assure they are directing their campus in a positive and productive manner.
- Academic Outcomes - Assess curriculum needs with the Deans and make recommendations/changes as required. Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of the curricula. Lead faculty and administration in cooperative team building and other activities to ensure growth and cooperation. Oversee accreditation process. Responsible for the development of administrative policies for the school and represent and implements school policies in contact with Fairmont student and parents
- Faculty and Staff recruitment and retention & satisfaction – Ensure the recruitment, retention, and enhancement of quality teachers through the ongoing faculty development and implementation of new ideas, practices, and procedures. Effectively manage performance issues and employee issues. Encourage strong collegiality between staff and administration to assure innovative ideas and practices that facilitate the maintenance of Fairmont’s position as leader in private education. Work closely with Department Chairs to support faculty. Plan faculty meeting agendas and run faculty meetings (including Academic Council). Responsible for supervising and evaluating Department Chairs, Deans, and reporting staff.
- Bias for Action - Plans, but takes action in clear steps in a proactive way. Quickly acts on projects, programs and campaigns. Drives decisions and pace of the campus. Drives, execution, learning improving people and processes. Stays agile, fights bureaucracy.
- Honesty/Direct communication - Provides feedback that is clear, specific and constructive. Drives proactive movement as a team member. Exercises appropriate discretion when communicating within the group. Assure, design, and facilitate good communication between parents, students and staff.
- Willingness to partner - Clear evidence of working across teams and functions. Develops internal team for excellence. Partners with Marketing, Education, Human Resources, and other corporate business units to reach yearly goals. Partner with other Campus Directors.
- Attention to detail - Well thought out plan of action, accurate, thorough. Manages with a timeline and follows up on actions and dates. Encourages team to create goals and timelines across functions. Ensure all policy handbooks are consistent and up to date.
- Critical thinking and problem solving - Researches and finds solutions to problems. Balances business reasoning with technology. Goes beyond, “just answering the question.”
- Master’s Degree in Education or related Administrative Leadership field, or the equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of administrative experience at a private school. Business related background.
- Experience in public speaking and can communicate with confidence and professionalism about trends in education, and the college environment.
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of populations; teachers, parents and students.
