Position Description:
The Project Manager has full responsibility and accountability for managing capital improvement and non-capital maintenance projects of broad scope and complexity. Projects typically involve budgets up to a capital limit of $3,000,000 per project or in aggregate, including plant accounts, involving substantial architectural impacts, and may require Chancellor approval, involve the direction of design and engineering professionals of multiple disciplines, require original needs assessment and use of programming, and are relatively limited as to high technology and/or complex engineering. The Project Manager is accountable for all project phases from inception, creating schematics, and use programming, through design, and contracting, to final completion of construction, and represent the campus throughout the process and follow through on all related activities to ensure work adequately reflects client's needs and is executed in a continuous and prompt manner within the project budget.
