Position Description:
Supporting the nation's number one public university, Capital Programs conceptualizes, plans, designs, and oversees all major construction projects on a vibrant 419-acre main campus and network of Medical and Hospitality facilities across southern California. Reporting to the Contract Administration Supervisor, the Contract Administrator 2 will be a key player in a small but dynamic team responsible for the annual development, execution, and management of more than 900 Construction Contracts and Design Professional Agreements valued in excess of $500 million.
As a member of the team, you will develop and execute construction contracts and design agreements; lead pre-bid conferences and public bid openings; provide guidance on UC Policy and Public Contract Code requirements; serve as an internal consultant on a broad range of contractual matters; and guide project teams through the creation of a contractual framework of documents for project success.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
