The University of Southern California, one of the nation's top universities, invites applications for a part-time faculty position in the Sonny Astani Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering within the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. The position in the CEE department is for part-time instructors in construction and construction practices. Qualified candidates must have a masterâs and/or PhD degree in civil and/or environmental engineering. Three to five years industry experience is preferred.
This is a part-time faculty appointment effective fall 2023 starting immediately. Applicants must submit a letter stating their interest in a part-time teaching faculty position, and should include a description of their background, area(s) of specialization and teaching experience, a detailed curriculum vitae and contact information of four professional references. Applicants are must also include a succinct statement on fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion. The per unit pay range for this position is $3,476 - $3,650.
