Detailed Description: The University of San Diego, Professional and Continuing Education is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach and/or develop online classes in our Construction Project Management Certificate program. The program consists of five courses. The first course is offered in the online self-paced format and students have 6 months to complete it. The other four courses are in the development process to be offered in the online fixed-date format. Each of those four courses will be seven weeks in length.

Teaching responsibilities include: teaching, assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, holding office hours, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards. Development responsibilities include: working with the Learning Design Team to create and develop the course in our learning management system while meeting agreed upon deliverable dates.

Job Requirements: Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Project Management (with courses/concentration in construction project management). Work experience in the construction project management field along with a Bachelors degree may substitute for Masters degree. Minimum of two (2) years of full-time professional experience in the construction project management field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Canvas learning management system is a plus
Posting Salary: $35-40/hr
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
