Overview: Counsel serves as a key member of the City of Hope legal team. Reporting to the Senior Deputy General Counsel, they will provide a broad range will provide a broad range of legal services to support City of Hope. This individual will take broad responsibility for providing legal advice and support regarding a variety of transactional matters, including, without limitation, real estate and construction, corporate finance and treasury transactions, acquisitions and affiliations, and other special projects.

Company: Founded in 1913 and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of people with cancer, diabetes and other serious illnesses, City of Hope is one of only 50 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation, as designated by the National Cancer Institute.

Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in a law firm or in-house legal department providing legal support for corporate transactions.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Location: Duarte, CA (near Pasadena) with some remote work options.

Relocation: Yes, but locals strongly preferred.

Bar: Must be a member in good standing of one State Bar, preferably California.
